Aren't you suppose to get that if the car has 30,000 miles or more? I'm thinking about doing the same thing but i am concerned about how it will drive on the highway (this is my daily driver during the warmer seasons). When you takes yours on there let me know how it rides.

Dude wait, you paid 350$ for just a ring/pinion swap with only a new pinion bearing/race? From what I'm reading thats what it sounds like.

got my 4.10 installed 4 years ago, and I'm still loving it! I think another mod I could really feel was the accufab plenum/bbk 75mm TB.

I paid $75 for 4.10 install with aluminum DS (free install) at the time (local forum deal)

After doing my own, I'd be afraid if a shop charged less than $200. Too many things that a lazy tech could say "**** it....close enough".

No thanx...

EXACTLY! You pay for what you get!

I laugh when I see posts of people hemming and hawing about whether they should get 3.73's or 4.10's.

4.10's FTW!

The gear question is so beaten to death...

well if you do the homework (like everybody should before taking there car to a shop) about the shop before you go there, youll be fine. one shop deals with mustangs everyday and tunes 1 or 2 each day and has a set price for installs because they do so many of them each week. the other shop is a performance shop and does custom turbo builds,s/c installs,1000 hp engine builds, and has 3- 8sec drag cars as shop vehicals.
