Installed the 4.10's!!!!!!

One mod that I could really feel. The 3.73's that I had are a good gear but the 4.10's are most def the way to go especially if you plan on staying N/A.

Glad you like them. How hard were they to install?

Soldier GT Dec 29, 2008 07:07 PM

I had a mechanic install them. Took the car to him this morning about 10, got the call at about 5 saying the car was ready for pickup.

Very nice Soldier! Did you use a handheld or a calibrator for your speedometer?

Get yourself some DRs and that TUNE and you'll be in business bigtime!

How much did he charge if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks Stone. Gonna wash her up tomorrow and do all of the calibration with my SCT tuner. Got a apponitment to get the car on the dyno in about 3 weeks!! Man it just pisses me off that I had to go back and redo a mod!!!!!

Stone629 Dec 29, 2008 07:26 PM

Don't let it bother ya man. You live and learn when it comes to modding these cars, trust me!

Nah man I don't mind. The mechanic charged me a flat rate or of $350.00. That wasn't really a issue but buying that Royal Purple gear oil was expensive (15 bucks a bottle and I had to buy three) but hey, if you want it done right you gotta use the best right????

Stone629 Dec 29, 2008 07:52 PM

The Royal Purple is worth the 15 bucks. Most of the other gear oils require additive anyway, which adds up. Royal already has the additive in it.
