Default upcoming engine swap

im planning on swapping a 4.6 2v into my 2002 v6 auto. i know i will need tranny, rear end, and so on, but i have some questions about the engine/power adder. basically by the end of this i want at least 600 streetable rwhp on pump gas using a 2.6 kenne bell. now ive been looking at heads and shortblocks. are the shortblocks from mmr any good? i was looking at the 5.0 2v with all forged internals for around $3000. is that a good one to start? and they have a 5.3 using the boss block i believe. is it really worth the extra few thousand to get that one instead?

also, what heads are the most blower friendly? i was really looking at the new trickflow heads when they come out, but i heard they bump up the compression on the motor. so are they good for blowers? are the patriot performance stage 3 a better option? im a bit of a noob when it comes to the modular v8's so please go easy on me.
