Default Clutch adjustment problems

So I tightened my clutch up the other day, but it seems like it goes back to normal after a little driving. I'm thinking maybe a hard launch is causing it to pop back to its normal position. I haven't done the clutch yet, so I'm still running the stock plastic quadrant. Anybody else have this problem trying to adjust with the stock piece?

By "tightened up my clutch" do you mean doing as is described in this link?

If so then it is normal for it to be a temporary solution, read the last paragraph in the above link for a "free" solution.

The real solution is to can the OEM plastic crap for a aluminum quardrant and a firewall adjuster. I have UPR's triple hook quadrant and their QuickClick adjuster (with the OEM cable) and could not be more pleased with the results.

I guess I'll have to get one of the firewall adjuster/billet quadrant kits before racing season then.
