2000GT is vibrating in curves

my 2000gt is vibrating when going into right and left curves. It is fine when driving straight. Could it be the rear end?

What kind of vibrating?? Feel, sound, etc??

2000GTponyexpress 12-31-2008 06:46 PM

its like the whole car shakes a little when going into curves then it quits when you get out of a curve and start going straight...its sorta weird like

Your steering rack bushing may be going out

My friends BMW does that and we have yet been able to troubleshoot it.

If it were my guess I'd say check the tie rod ends.

It could be wheel bearings also when I replaced mine it reduced alot of my vibrations when I would turn

vibration in curves

It vibrates more in a left hand curve than a right hand curve. It even shakes the steering wheel.

car vibrates in turns = bring GF through some twisties :D

have the tires been balanced recently? is there any play in the wheel? tie rod ends as stated maybe?

Bushings.............?

Frostbitten 01-01-2009 05:41 PM

its a bushing worn out or possibly alignment issue imo..
