vortech oil feed problem

also as long as its not a pipe fitting you could shim it with a brass washer to change the direction its at when its tight.

dont use loctite if you want to seal it i always put a little hi temp silicone sealer on my fittings threads. you really want it to be tight though on the pressure side.

im not exactly sure what a pipe fitting is lol. i just dont want it to come loose and spray oil everywhere

pipe thread is tapered so the threads are actually what seals the fitting example.

The end that goes into the blower doesnt look tapered, but the flared end kinda looks like it is

Sorry I hadnt seen this earlier. There is a metal plug that screws into the oil drain hole next to the filter. Remove that and install the vortech t-fitting in its place. Attatch the oil feed line to the fitting. Then on the other end of the t-fitting, you will install the oil pressure sending unit. Take the metal plug you removed from the drain hole, and install it in the hole that the oil pressure sending unit used to be in. So basically you are installing both the t-fitting and the sending unit into the oil drain hole and blocking off the other one hole. Thats how mine was setup.

gotcha. thanks. did you have the same trouble with the 45 degree fitting on the blower too?

thats what i thought....do you think i should use some silicone sealant on the blower side or what...

Here is a pic of How I have mine set up. I have an oil pressure gauge but if you dont you can just block off that port.
