Question Stall Converter Help.

Im getting ready to purchase a stall converter and need some suggestions on possibly which one and how high. So far i am leaning towards a B&M Holeshot 3000. My transmission is a 4R70W AODE. The mods done to the car are Hooker LT's, x-pipe, flowmasters, underdrive pullies, cold air, 78mm bbk intake/tb, 100 shot wet kit nitrous, 4.10's, diablosport predator, lakewood 90/10's (front), lakewood 50/50's (rear), bfg dr's ( soon to be MT's or nitto's) misc. stuff. I am spraying it 100 shot but will be spraying it 125 shot this summer. Any suggestions on which stall or how high i should go? I would like to spray it out of the hole.

Best time: 12.4 111mph 1.8 60ft.

That is irrelevant since he should be going with a lockup converter.

Anyways, for a n/a 4.6 a 3200-3500 would work good....if you plan on doing cams or anything in the future you should definately go with 3500 or so.

I have a 35-3600 stall in my blown Gt...kind of annoying around town but you get used to it.

the only time i drive it on the highway is to the track and back. other than that maybe 10-20 miles tops on the highway. i still wanna be able to cruise around town and whatnot. but i would like to be able to spray it out of the hole at the track also.

If you want to spray out of the hole I would say to go with the 3500 just so when you spray your RPM's will be up and you should be "safe"

Get in touch with someone who builds the things....You will probably need an anti baloon plate like me if you plan on spraying.
