Of course put since it used to an auto he either need to hook a clutch saftey switch to the old neural park lead or just ground it manually. He said he left the position switch hooked up and in neutral or park so that should work.

well I got the car started and running, turned out to be 2 problems, my starter turned out not to work anymore, I put in a new starter, still no crank, I started messing with the transmission range sensor and spliced a white/red wire with a red/green wire and viola the car started up with the auto computer. I had a slew of MIL on the dash. I liked how the car rev'd, I put the 5 speed computer in and the rev's hang at 2k and drop to idle. This did away with the slew of MIL.

However, I never had an airbag light before. Both computers the airbag light stayed on. How do I remedy this besides cheating and taking the bulb out?

Good job!! I knew had to do with the park and neutral switch. Did you modify your PATS cluster lol.

yeah, i was glad to see the car start after it had been broken for so long, but a few other issues have risen with car such as the airbag light, and the turn signals dont work now, and there are no blown fuses.

If you switch out your cluster and try to start the car the theft light comes on and it wont start... this is why I was pretty sure the PATS info is in the cluster...
