Default Gap in intake? Right behind filter

I was going through my car today and I noticed a gap behind the air filter box and the MAF. Is there supposed to be a gasket there? The gap is where the filter box bolts up to the MAF. Will someone check theres and tell me what is supposed to be there?

Is there a screen still in there? If not, there's supposed to be a screen suurounded by a rubber O-ring.You need this O-ring.Get one from a junk yard or fill in this gap with RTV sealer.(If the car runs good without the screen just use the O-ring without the screen)

Thanks! There is not a screen or o-ring on right now. I went to the junk yard and they didnt have any. I am going to call the Ford dealarship later today and see if they will sell individual parts like that.
