i thought my info was relatively accurate...but whatever.

You are welcome for the help, and my bad on the axles, the 99s had 28 splines. Either way upgrading them would not be a horrible idea if you drag race frequently (as it may have been) or have a lot of wheel hop (should be able to be resolved with some rear and suspension work). As far as the underdrive pullies go, i suppose that is personal preference but seems like more a of a pain than they are worth. Sure you can dump $100-200 into pullies, $400 into a ported intake, and $150+ on a RAI. Or you could save that and be well on your way to a power adder that will give you more than the 30-40hp that these smaller mods will give. And those mods will benefit most from a power adder anyway. Just my thoughts on the subject. Not trying to argue, just playing devil's advocate.

I know what you're saying....just giving a bolt on perspective. Seemed like that's what he was most interested in.

o yeah, I know. It's cool. I just like to point this out to a lot of people, since it seems that most get way over their head with bolt-ons and reflect back wishing they had just gone with a supercharger or nitrous. That was all I am saying.

To the OP: If you have any specific ?'s "poisnd" is the guy to PM. I just wanted to drop in and try to give you a good start. Best of luck with your future purchase, let us know if you get it and then what your plans are!

6500 for a 110k 01 cobra?

sounds sketchy to me. taking a large price cut like that just gives me the impression that he wants to get it off of his hands quickly. you got the vin? ive got two more days on my carfax subscription.

i've already got a carfax report on it. most of the miles were put on by the original owner who had it for 4 years. he probably drove like an hour to work every day.

a friend of mine had an 01, low miles and spun a bearing. I'm sure it's not that common, and I know he didn't beat on it that hard, so I would be leary of something like that. Take it to a mechanic to get inspected.

If it's all good, for $6,500... as Dave Chappelle says "THATS A DEAL SON!"
