Default c-clip eliminators?

what are these and do i NEED to buy them to have my rear end built? i already ordered 31 spline moser axles, have a 31 spline trac-lok diff, master bearing kit, and fluids. i saw somewhere that i needed c-clip eliminators but i know nothing about them? i will be launching hard at the track and will be running full slicks at times other than that, nitto dr's.

If you have any plans on driving on the street, I'd avoid the elims.... They will most likely leak like a bitch, they dont like makin turns. I cant speak from personal experience, but from a very reputable source.

Hey, like I said I dont speak from personal experience, just from a few racers who drive their cars n the streets every now and then... so take that for what its worth.

i dont know if they are c-clip emil axles or not; they are the ones off americanmuslce.com

Can someone explain to me what these do?

A professional will be installing these so if they are good to have then were can i buy some? Also, this is a STREET CAR; not a track queen so it needs to be street friendly if i need to go to Mcdonalds on a nice day or something. thanks

They keep your axles from coming off the car while you are driving. The stock system uses a small "C clip" to lock the axle into the diff. These lock the axles in from the outside.

If you got the axles off AM then they are probably not c-clip elim. axles. Those are the same axles I have and I still have the clips...
