my 3650 is pretty beat up and i need to put something new in it. 3rd gear grinds real bad and so does reverse for some reason? anyway iv heard good things bout the c4 tranny...what do u guys think? how hard would it be to put one in my car or do u guys think i should just go with a tko?

A C4 has no overdrive in it and if you do a fair amount of high driving you be turning a good bit of rpm at cruise. Other than that it's not a bad tranny. The syncros or going bad in the 3650.

I'm collecting parts for a 4r70w swap now. I'm not totally sure if I'm getting a auto computer or going to a manual shift vb setup.

C4 is great if you want to stay in 3rd all the time if it's a street car
