Default man to auto quest?

a buddy of mine in memphis has a 99 gt w/a 5-speed. he wants to swap it out for an automatic! i told him that i wouldn't do it but i think he is insistant on it. he asked how hard would this swap be, how much of a pain in tha *** would it changing over the stick shifter w/the auto shifter in relation to where they both sit?

From what I hear the biggest pita is the pedal assembly. Everything else isn't too bad. A buddy of mine did it in his stang.
