Upon further investigation, it does seem like this might be an amp. my speaker wires have the same color wires as a set of wires going into it. That is good to know what it is, but that sux because I still don't know what my good alternator is not charging the battery. I have checked all of the wires and cleaned the connectors. I am afraid to put the dash back in, but I guess I will and HOPE that all works.

Does anyone know what a perfectly good alternator is not charging the battery?

How likely is a fusible link to fail? And how would one test for such failure?

Default Running Great.

Thank you all for your help. I got the dash back in and all is great. Heater works, no airbag errors and alternator is charging.

I cleaned all connections before putting dash back in and I guess it was just a couple of bad connections somewhere. Man I am glad to have the Mustang back up and running. Now, I just hope that the A/C doesn't leak at the connection points when I get it recharged. Wish me luck...

Again, thank you for all of your help.
