And does anyone know where I can get one (preferably aftermarket)for a good price? Thanks in advance.

That would be the filter box. The stock filter is housed inside. Save your money for something worth while there is nothing wrong with the stock one.

Also if thats your motor, you might want to give it a bath

lol i think it's time to replace it, if his engine is that dirty. Simple green FTMFW.

Open the filter box up and drop in a K&N filter. Take out the silencer while you're at it.

Hi Steve. I was thinking aftermarket to save money 'cause Ford would probably want an arm and leg for a part. I thought about gluing it, but I doubt that would hold. I hope it hasn't been broken for long because unfiltered air may be getting to the engine. ---Yes I'll clean the engine soon.

I'm sorry I didn't notice the crack, looking at its location its not letting any unfiltered air into the motor. However it will be letting under hood air (which is much hotter) into the motor.

There must be 2000 people on this site that have replaced there stock air box and would be willing to let it go for a very reasonable price
