If what you are describing is a very slight miss/lumpy idle, and the SES light is off, then it's normal. My '03 has had a somewhat lumpy idle since I got it at 30k miles, some 53k miles ago--I kind of like it...

I agree it sounds kinda lompy, but the random lumpieness (created my own word there) makes it more annoying than anything. the reason why i want to fix the miss is because a got a zex wet kit arriving soon and from what little info ive herd, is that No2 and missfires don't like eachother.

At my last pulls in August I did 260/302 on the best run, I just haven't posted it yet. Dynamometers are not that precise (or precise at all), different types and different conditions can vary by +/- 10% or more.

Does it miss off the line, or when you get on it? It's not a Corolla...

no miss when Im driving, nothing off the line. Just every so often, and I mean EVERY so often it will miss at idle. Clutch in and waiting at the drive thru for more than 5 minutes, and it will miss once or twice, then it goes away. Im leaving it alone, its running fine.
