RE: 315's better than 275's???
[If you are looking for the best traction then you cant go with the cheapest tire. I have Michelin Pilot 335/35/17's on the back of mine and they break loose in third gear at 70 mph on certain pavements and I can get it sideways in second on any street.]
it must nice to have that much power

275's should be all you need for traction...running Sumitomo's on my stang and they do break loose, as did the previous set of more expensive tires. And David...If your Daddy is paying then they are your daddy's cars, you just drive, tinker, and f-up his toys, not your own. You must have quite a drug problem to have your daddy so concerned to pay you off to keep you alive...for the time being

yea, i konw,, i'm goin with 335's in the front
i dont really care how they perform,, i mean, im pretty sure they can not be worse than what i have now,, which are 245continental extreme contact (hardcore winter tires) that are nearly bald
i am much more interested in that wide aggresive stance,, i just want to know where newcomer found them for 110 bucks,,, thats forty less a piece than discount tire quoted me
315's wont work on the front, FYI

335's are bigger than 315's.... which means they will work even less on the front

RE: 315's better than 275's???
I was gonna get some fr500's in 18' deepdish but i have a 2in drop so i dont think the front will agree on turning well. I just wanted a angresive looking tire in the rear with great traction. The tires are at thetirerack.com......best place for tires EVER!. Anyways i switched my descision to 17in bulitt wheels so i i could get a wide tire in the rear and keep my new 245/40/17's in the front. Well see ya guys in the morrow.

i dont know how many of you are replying to me about having traction,,
but to those of you who are,,,
i am not looking for superior traction, i thought some of you would have guessed that when i said, oh,, somethings on sale,, and even cheaper
i just want the car to sit really wide, look aggresive with the big tires in back, and fairly large ones up front,,
so if the dude who originally started this topic would come to life, i could find out where they are on sale out....
thanks ouzbund,, i was confused for a second,, hows 215 sound?
