Ive been debating wheter or not to go with long tubes or mid lengths for my 4v setup. I was wondering if anyone has expereince with mid lengths and what kind of gains they make. The main reason im leaning towards the mids is because I dont want to go through the hassle of header removal every time i have to pull my tranny to replace a TOB, clutch, etc etc.

I have Bassani mid-lengths and they work alright.As far as HP gains,they would be better than shorties but it would figure they would fall short of longtubes.Iv'e never seen a back to back test run so I don't know.
The Bassani headers fit and finish was good and there was no leaks after they were installed.So the design must be OK. Mine are four years old and are starting to burn the ceramic coating off and rust is beginning to form.The car does live outside so that's to be expected.

the longtubes are probly more of a pain than there worth, a buddy has them and he said its a major deal when he has to work on the clutch, and he works at a dealer.
