Default Same tires up front and out back

Does it really matter if the front two tires are different from the back two?

As long as they're both radial or non radial, brand doesn't matter.

Nothing wrong with it.

However the dealer won't like it. They will take about $500 off their offer on a trade saying they won't sell it with mismatched tires, but they won't even bother matching the tires anyway.

ok cool. apparently the front left tire has been rubbing and is down to the cords(spelling?) so it needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

You may want to make sure the tire ware is even... and not just on one side. If you have an alignment problem, you'll chew through those new tires in a few months.
