Default PI Intake

well... i ordered my PI Intake today from Livernoismotorsports.com, i was gonna wait till friday, but couldnt haha. set me back a pretty penny but hopefully worth it. they claim you put down 24-32 to the wheels after a tune on stock applications, so we'll see.. and they said this is without heads or cams. sounds good to me! i'll let you all know how it goes. do those numbers sound right to everyone? up to 32 HP w/o heads and cams?

doesnt sound right to me, even with a good tune. you get more from the intake if you have the pi heads, but with stock heads i think the hp gain is closer to 10

may be a little more, but more like it than 32...
dont forget that the intake plus PI heads and cams put around 40hp(260 total plus a little more for the upgrade compression.) at the motor so....

People will argue how much of a gain you can see. I personally have heard a good 25 RWHP. Thats to the wheels. You'd spend prolly 500. You can get the same gain by buying better cams and you will sound better to. Or if you have the money P&P and get new cams. Cams are about the same as a port and polish

Actually you will spend close to $2000 for a good port, polish and larger stainless steel valves IF you take the car somewhere to have the heads removed, P&P and valves and reinstalled. Maybe $300-$500 if you do the other work yourself.

Those numbers are a little off. You will most likely see a good 15 hp to the wheels. I guess if you had a tune you might see those numbers, but the intake alone is worth about 15 rwhp.
