Motor Differences 99-00-01-02-03-04
I`d like somebody knowledgeable to elaborate on the differences motor-wise between all the years of mustangs 99-04 GT. I assume that 04 is more advanced than 99 although both of them belong to the same generation. I drive a 99 GT and would like to know what I`m missing by not driving 00+ mustang. Thanks.
Maybe there is some website that explains the upgrades in the following models.

99-01 have slightly lower compression, '02 is when they started using the aluminum cross overs on all the PI intake manifolds, mid'02 they started using the T3650 and got rid of the T45. Thats about the only major differences. I cant think of any others.

The only thing else I can think of tis in 02 they oftered the mach 1,000 stero with 2 subs or it mite be 03. All I knwo is my stock trenny s**** at 10,000 miles ford rebuilt the trenny and rear end and added new clutch. They said it was a defection with the my car. Once I put the s/c on 2,000 miles later the trenny was leaking from all parts.[:@]
