1. with 1000 to work with, id get a differant kit

look into the nx plate kit, or i personally use NOS... and zex.

id get...

nx or nos kit-550
purge-100
heater-100
fpss-cheap
msd digital window switch-100
zex tps switch-60
spend the other 100 on a tune, assuming you have a tuner, if you dont, save it, spray 100 on good gas, when you have the <$400, get it tuned.

fwiw i sprayed a 100 shot on a stock tune with 93oct gas for quite a while, and ran the times in my sig tons of times.

You could look into getting a slightly used kit. I see them on various forums for pretty cheap and a lot of them include some if not all of the extra stuff

thats the way to go if your on a budget, i bought my kit used, and no issues here... tho if i had the money, i would have went new

if you go used, pay the $50 a piece to rebuild the solenoids

My old NX plate kit I had back in the day didnt and I didnt see a guage in the kit above, so I thought I would throw it in. If your new to nitrous then one thing to keep in mind is the pressure, it has to be maintained between 900-1000 psi. If the pressure is low, your going to run rich, and the opposite with to high you will run lean. This is one of the most important factors for nitrous to be safe. Unless you like to make taco salad out of engine parts that is...
