A broken axle is very rare, there are a lot of things in the drive train that will break before the axle does.

you think my axles can hold up at the track with slicks on and my 60ft being 1.8. im just worried that now that i have upper and lower control arms theyll break easier.

i had a friend who shattered the differential, it was a bolt on GT with sticky tires

If you're worried that much about them breaking why not just replace them and be safe?

put in some hardened 32 spline axles with a new posi. would be a nice setup.

i have the posi but i dont want to go through the problem of messing with the differential and having to order the axles. ive had my differential out 3 times. i put 3.73s in and then took them out to put 4.10s in and didnt like the 4.10s so i put my 3.73s back in. im hating working on that again. so im trying to see if my stock ones will last a little before i really have to worry about replacing them.

I shattered my ring and pinion as well as the stock differential, but my axles held up.
