99GT -> '04 Mach 4V Swap
I'm going to be picking up a disassembled '04 Mach 4V motor tomorrow for my 99GT (assembly is not a concern).
Things that he is including;
I was just wondering what other things I need to complete this, will the T-45 bellhousing on my tranny now mount up to the 4V, or do I need a new housing?
Any issues with the throttle cable?
I have a very experienced modular engine builder working with me, but he hasn't done an sn95 swap, so I just wanted to check on the details here.
While the motor is out we're going to throw long tubes on it as well.
Picking up the motor for a good price, and doing all the work ourselves, so this will be a good choice for me, so lets not get into that discussion... :P
Thanks guys.
Things that he is including;
- gauge cluster
- ECU
- flywheel
- intake
- all front accessories
- coils, plugs, valve covers, etc.
- NO MAF (Is my MAF the same?)
- NO wiring harness (Ordering a brand new one)

tranny will mount up with no problem. you need cobra throttle cable and cruise control cable. cobra coolant tubes. MAF will work but if you are going to use the cobra ecu it will need to be tuned before you drive it. to save yourself some money (if your on a budget) sell the cobra ECU, and dont order the new wiring harness, and sell the cluster. you can use your stock ECU and harness and your MAF will work fine then. you will need to reverse the polarity to your COPs. either way you will need a tune though.
