eventually you WILL. I think you'll be alright doing it HARD once or twice..I still wouldn't be too hard on it though. i'd launch hard but not profesionally Hard..if that makes sense.
Theres really no way to know. some ppl have better luck than others but its just a matter of your luck..eventually you'll run out.

i launched hard on KDWS street tires...you can break no matter what tire youre running!!

i dont know about 245 45 17s.. i'd try maybe 275 45 17s nitto or M/T drag radials..
ITs pretty rare to break the rear end on street tires, it requires a little bit of bad luck but dont go crazy on the clutch and you'll be alright.. in all honesty, not many ppl know how to really drag race HARD anyway so unless you've been doing this for a while and know what your doing i wouldnt really worry too much
