Default Bigger injectors??

I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about going to bigger injectors on a 2000 4.6. What kinds of gains would I expect, and what size would be good for a non-supercharged motor? Does anyone know the stock size by the way? Thanks

Not sure what your car has stock.. I am fairly sure the new cobra has 24 pound injectors, but its supercharged.. I noticed you are in Sarasota, I live in Brandon(Tampa).

Don't go up on the injector size unless you are going to increase the airflow with it. Number one, if you don't get a bigger fuel pump with them then they do no good. Number two, if the volume of air is not increased with the increase in fuel then you run the mixture too rich and will lose power instead of gaining.

I would rec either getting a S/C or going with nitrous first, then increase the injector and pump size.

Don't forget about the ECM when you mod this stuff.
