That's a great price to start. 4,208 miles is pretty close to brand new, and you're savingclose to $10,000 on a brand new one. Is it a 5-speed?

No, its Automatic with over drive. I thought it was a good price too. I definately want this design model. I think that the 05s are hot, but i am a female therefore, i dont ever ever see myself driving that car, its 100% guy car (in my opinion) Right now, I am really interested in buying a new/newer car. Mustangs have been MY DREAM car since b4 i could drive. In my opinion, they are gorgeos cars and i've been in love with them forever! I am looking to purchase now, and i will be buying it with my own $, however, my parents are making me wait to buy a car until august. I totally disagree. Especially since i foudn this car! AND its GRAY AND converitble both things i want! and i lucked out finding a GT! :) I just dont know how to convince them, its more my dad~ and my mom's issue with the mustang is the fact that its rear wheel drive, and i have to commute to school.. Sometimes we get snow, somtimes its alot and somtimes it not. I did hear that the Blizzaks (i thinK)were great tires in the snow, if anyone has any other suggestion. I can't afford another "winter" vehicle. I have to admit i'm nervous bout the snow too, but i just feel like ive wanted this car for SO long, i have an opportunity to buy it now, if i pass it up, will i regret it??? i dunno what to do i'm stuck. I am luckily saved that my parents are going to pay for the insurance~ but im so against waiting until august* any ideas/suggestions ?

you'll be better off in the snow in an auto, and that sounds like a good price.

Just show your parents the price of a NEW GT convertible, which the one you found essentially is. It's a baby, and just barely broken in. If you don't take the opportunity to get it, you will regret it, because finding a car with that mileage for that price, and being a convertible, is very rare. Do whatever you have to...buy it under their nose if you have to. <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

Mustang don't make great winter cars but a lot of people do it. We have pretty crazy winters here and the only cars you don't see are the Vipers and Vettes. The Mustangs, Camaros and T/A's are still out there. I guy in my office building bought a Bullitt new and drove it for a winter. He has since traded the car fora 2002 auto GT vert and he used blizzaks on both cars. He doesn't seem to have too much of a problem getting around. When he traded his Bullitt for the GT he got the Bullitt (torque thrust style) wheels for summer and the stock 5 spokes for winter.</P>


I guess what I'm trying to say is that 2 sets of wheels(winter &amp; summer) should be a consideration.</P>


But whatever, just get the car, you won't regret it.</P>
