Ok I got a 96 GT three and a half weeks ago the guy put new pads but didnt turn the rotors so I bought new ones and replaced them. Now while driving I hear a Squeek type noise coming from the front right wheel. What do you think wheel bearing? or pads rubbing some? Ok and also It is a 5-spd those came with t-5's and t45's correct? how do i tell which one mine came with? Thanks Patrick

all 4.6 mustangs came with the t45.
make shure you used the anti squelel lube on the back of your pads when you installed them

HUH??? Till mid '01 they did. Then they went to the 3650. Just for clarification.

i should have been more specific with my answer, i ment all the 4.6 stangs of his year 96 that he stated, cobra and gt, and you are correct about the trimmec 3650 in 01 and up gt, and mach 1. sorry for the confusion

anti squeel lube? didnt use it never heard of it please inform me?

just replaced my brake pads the other day, they sell the lube at autozone with the pads, its real cheap, just call and ask or go pick some up. No more than a couple of bucks

yeah some pads come with a tiny tube of it in the box, you apply it to the back of the pads where they touch the calliper
