should I buy one?
Hello everyone,
I’m not a mustang owner yet, but hopefully soon. I currently own a 2003 cavalier. It was my first car I purchased, and I’ve had it for the past six years. I haven’t had any problems so far, but I foresee future problems. I took a job that requires about 100 miles of traveling per day. In my opinion, that’s a lot for a cavalier, and I’m not too comfortable relying on it for the commute. Therefore, there’s only one other option and that is to buy a mustang.
I have always been a huge fan of the 2004 GTs. My question to all you mustang owners is, do you think a used ’04 mustang with approximately 30,000 miles is reliable enough to pack on 100 miles a day? I don’t think gas mileage would be a problem, considering its all highway miles. Thanks for your input in advance.

EDIT: I now feel more confident in my above statement seeing as how your location is NJ. Mustangs and NJ winter driving could spell bad things on the harsher days. Good luck with whatever you decide and hopefully you will be a regular on here soon.

agreed. Unless all your driving is on FLAT roads a mustang in snow = fail.
i am fine driving the 'stang in the snow but just outside our apartments lot is an incline that is about 55 degrees and 2-3 feet long...and no matter what I do i can't get up it from a stop there. Traffic is blind from one way and you can see it coming from another way..so you have to get a rolling start from about 30-40 feet back and time it just right with traffic to get onto the main road...sucks
