As small as those cams are, you probably won't notice much difference in sound.
i want them this way since i donĀ“t want all the people to know what i got under my
hood i think that's just about what i need to achieve 300+rhwp i dynoed 287
before cams came will let you know how i'm doing
you dynoed 287 with stock intake cams and heads?

what kind of dyno was it?

Yes, it is a Dynojet Research Inc. using the following specs
Mustang GT 01_001.drf: 86.60Ā°F 25.09in-Hg Humidad:7% SAE:1.21 PM:56.59

somebody told me something about SAE that is a correction but i
really didnĀ“t understand

I dont think your going to reach a true 300 RWHP with just cams and stock heads. Full boltons and cams and I only hit 280 RWHP. Granted it isn't a great tune, but still. I would suspect the dyno you are using is a bit optimistic on the horsepower side. 28x rwhp with boltons is unheard of.

Didn't JD have like 275rwhp with no cams? 25hp from cams is believable.

How hard was the installation?
And what do you have for intake?

I talked to MPH about this when I got the cams and did not realise the gains I was told I would. He practically laughed at me when I said I had heard of 2v cars making 270-275 RWHP with no intake/heads/cam work. I got the same result when I told him I had been expecting 300 RWHP.

Modular Power House has an extremely good rep, and they have done a ton of camswaps. Unlike my local shop, they really know what is going on with cams and a 2v car.

If you make 300 RWHP from a 2v with no head/intake work, take it to another dynojet. If you make 300 RWHP again, call MM&FF and you should make at least a 3 page artical.

If I had to do it again, I wouldn't do the cams. I would have spent the 2k on a forged bottom end, or just save it for the blower install.
