snapped off lug..
i was putting my saleens back on today and i was taking the bullitt off the rear drivers side and i snapped off one of the lugs. half of it is stuck inside the lug nut and the stub that is left is too small to get the lug nut on. what do i need to fix this, and is it ok to drive?

Its a fairly easy fix man. Get the wheel off, take the rotor off, and then using a BFH smack the stud out.(you should be able to spin the axle around to a spot where the stud will slide out..i havent had to replace one on a mustang yet so you might have to pull the axle out if not) Get a new stud, a stack of washers, and a new lugnut and using an impact gun, slowly press the new one in. Viola, done

I was spinning wheels on 4 lugs when I bought my 2000 in 2008...
...but you should repair it asap...
The lug on mine was stripped and was also the rear drivers side...
you will be able to use a BFH to knock the lug out but you will have to do some finnagling to get it past the hub...
I thought I was going to have to remove the axle to get it out but it does come out...
...and the new lug will go in with some coaxing...
Then as WhiteFoxGT indicated, with the new lug in place, stack washers under the lugnut and use an impact gun to pull the new stud into place...
I did and now spinning wheels on 5 lugs
