i'd go tb and plenum over shaker hood...if u get the shaker hood and later have plans to supercharge, you're going to have to make some other mods in order to s/c it. It's all about preference I guess, but i'd get a 70 mm tb and a cai along with that full exhaust.

I wouldn't recommend the 75 mm for an otherwise stock exhaust/intake setup. I put a CAI and a 75 on my car and i lost power down low but gained some up top. I think that I shoulda gone with a 70, but maybe after I get my heads ported i'll feel it a little bit more.

I have the 75mm tb and c-l plenium...i read somewhere that the 75 gave a horse power or 2 gain overr the 70mm....and also the fit between the two is rather smooth and straight opening to opening..not sure what the diff in the 70mm would be, i know the stock TB opening would have been much smaller then that of the C/L plenium opening. And some do say that the smother the flow the better right? Isnt it why some of us polish and port or parts?..I dont notice any power losses down low..but for that matter i didnt notice any power gains at all . Maybe i just exspected more out of it. I like the sound the combo makes thou..sort of a high wine during acceleration. Anyways..my 2 %

yeah i think im goin with a C&L intake plenum with a 75mm TB, brothers performance has it in a package and it looks good to me,
still lookin at CAI's to decide what to get. Im still looking at the o/r h pipes but last few places i looked dont have them for '01s but i know they are out there because ive seen them on mustangexhaust but last few places i looked didnt have them

go with a upr o/r x-pipe, theyre one of the cheaper x-pipes and perform just as well as any of the high priced ones. Exhaust is all in what you prefer: something loud like slp, the less loud mufflers of flowmaster and magnaflow or the different sounds that come with borla and bassani (although theyre really overpriced in my opinion).
