Default Head lights

My head lights are messed up. They work fine one secound and then some times one is out, weather it be high or low beam. Some times only low beam work and when i turn on the high beam the all go off. Any thoughts what this could be? It s not any of the lights bulbs could it be the high beam switch?

My low beams work fine, but I have a drivers side high beam that won't work, I got new bulbs thinking that would fix it, but it still does the same thing. I switched bulbs around and still get the same results. I have no clue as too what is wrong with it, I'm guessing it is a problem with the pig tail or in the wire harness it self.

Theres a few components that could be goin out, but first(both of you) check you connections at the headlamp itself.. Sometimes they can become dislodged, and I've seen pins wiggle out of connectors as well.. Check the basics... Make sure all fuses are good. I know somtimes high beams have seperate fuses from low beams, so LynnBob, I'd be looking there first.

I checked the fuses. The low beams each have their own seperate fuse, high beams have one single fuse for both sides.
Thats why I'm thinking it is in the pig tail or the wire harness, I can't get my meter probes into the pig tail to see if it is working or not though.

My fuses are fine. I did discover that the high beams don't shut all the lights off. The just make everything dim. Almost like its getting shorted somewhere and not getting all the current, but you would think that would blow a fuse. I haven't really had time to check all the connection yet. I know all the bulbs are fine still, cuz last night there was no problem at all.
