Default What are the Best Short-tube Headers?

I am thinking about putting some short-tube headers into my 2002 Mustang GT. What are the best ones that you know of. I would have gone for long-tube headers but I already dropped a bit into my magnaflow x-pipe, and I don't have a supercharger or anything so I doubt I would benefit all that much more with them. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

The stock ones. Either get LTs+sell your current X pipe or just don't get any. Just not worth the money. Spend it on some drag radials or nitrous idk.

yeah i agree. i think that shorty headers are almost useless. They dont add much power at all, and do not change the torque curve in any substantial way. Long tubes are the way to go. You'll notice a nice gain even if u are N/A. Just make sure you get it with a tune and you'll be all set.

Thanks for the replies! Now the big question is who wants to buy my Magnaflow catted tru-x mid pipe. So what type of longtube headers should I go for?

I have the bbk's and i like them. They are the only exhaust mod and they made a huge difference in the sound. Love it.

if you want to get some ideas on LTs there are a couple of useful threads in the link in my sig. It usually comes down to personal preference (sound wise) and price range.

BTW you may want to check out ebay as they sell a lot of longtube and mid pipe combos if you are on a budget.
