Has anybody put in a new head unit. I'm looking for one that will match nicely with the the other compents of the systems. I already have a mtx tc2002 in the back power a 10" kenwood. I'd be happy with that but my Cd play is shot, so i'm really just looking to upgrade the head unit.

If you have the Mach 460 Audio System, and still have the stock Headunit, you will have to rewire your speakers for the new Head unit. With the Mach 460 system, it uses amps to drive each speaker. This won't work with a new aftermarket headunit.

+1 the circuit city and bestbuy where I live wouldn't work on my mustang bc they "didn't have the right harness and couldn't get it" I believe there's two harnesses for the head unit though... it's tricky

Yeah I was aware of this problem. I didn't know if there was something that would work easily. That wire connection seems like it is the ticket though? I assume that it isn't had to find the dash insert for it either?
