Default What will a performance intake manifold do for me??

I got a body whos gonna give me a performance intake manifold that he was using with his twin turbo setup which only been ran about 10 times and now he wants to go a different route. He only buys the best and said this one went for about 1200 new. Im sry i dont know what brand it is. I know that it would definatly help later down the road with forced induction but im wondering about what it would do for me now being naturally aspirated. I have most of my mods listed in my signature. So i guess im asking will it give me any gains at all or will it flow to much and i will loose torque low end??? Any advice on how a performance intake manifold is beneficial would be appreciated. He's selling it for 200 to me and is going to help me put it on too. He's my best friend and lives right down the street from me so I know hes not ripping me off. Thought id just throw that in there so you guys know its a good intake!!

im thinking it will flow too much and it'll hurt you N/A, or do nothing.

if its really a 1200 dollar manifold and your getting it for 200 with future plans of forced induction it would be stupid of you to pass it up.

these 2v motors can only suck in so much air. so putting on an intake that was designed for forced induction will give you minimal gains if any at all. but i'd still buy it if you're planning on going f/i

Regardless, it's something you can't pass up. You could always get rid of it and still come out smelling like roses.
