i have an 03 gt with 40000 miles and when i was sitting in the drive thru today i noticed i little tick. and when i got out to see were it was comming from it sounds like its comming from around the fender well.

If you dont have an exhaust leak, than its probably a rocker or lash adjuster going bad.

Could be quite a few things dude, its hard to tell you what it is without hearing it

99-04 are really bad about this

But as WhiteFoxGT said, it is really hard to tell without hearing the noise. Maybe post up a vid or sound clip if you can so everyone can hear it and be able to better help with the problem.
