Spectergt260 well that what mine did with bolt on with heads and cams and LT. A 13.1 on motor and 12.5 on a 100 shot. It had dr m/t 17 inch, and stock suspension with 3.90 gears. i got more hp. He got 260. Saw 342 and thought that was on motor.

bostang.
With what you have i went 13.1 motor. On the gas went 12.5.
what mine did with bolt on with heads and cams and LT
the OP does not have heads/cams. hes just regular boltons: headers, midpipe, catback, intake, maybe a plenum and TB and pulleys. ur top quote makes it sound like you did 13.1 with just regular boltons but the bottom quote says u have heads/cams.

a 13.1 sounds good for a 2v w/ heads/cams and boltons, and 11 seconds is totally possible with nitrous. it just sounded like u were claiming these numbers out of a car like the OP has, which is mid 13s on motor, and mid 12s on nitrous. ive seen waaaaay too many of these cars built exactly like this (including my own) to accept 11s out of a stock head/cam car on a 100 shot unless there is plenty of suspension work done

It'll be a pretty close run between you and the Saleen. You are down some peak power but a sprayed 2Vs powerband is incredibly flat so that makes up for the extra peak he has. When I had my GT I used to start a roll race right at 3000 RPMs(just as fast no need to shift). 60 rolls in 4th gear, 40 rolls in 3rd. I think he'll pull ever so slightly on you from a roll.

In my old GT(mods are in sig, yes those are all the mods everything else was stock) I ran 7.9x@87.x with a 100 shot, and 7.73@89.x with a 125 shot. With his power level I don't see him trapping over 90 so it should be close. All of that is in the 1/8th, never been to a 1/4th mile so I don't know much about that.

I never ran any Mustangs from a roll(all the guys I know have imports) but I know I have never personally seen a stock block sprayed or blown 2V run better than my times. I know they are out there it's not that hard, but they sure as hell weren't out when I went to the track.

again, what is your suspension and wheel setup on that car? a stock suspension DR car wont be seeing many 1.6's like u have there.

weve already established (so many times i think i may start bleeding from the ear) that a car with suspension work can hit those numbers. so if that was an attempt to argue the point im sorry but reading would have told u that we are in violent agreement there.

am i the only one in this thread that is addressing the OP's car? he doesnt have suspension work done, just regular boltons, which means he is NOT a low 13 car, hes a mid 13 car just like all the other mid 13 second bolton stock suspension GT's out there.

dimebag.... you make me sad. in ALL but the top post I made I address how suspension work can net those numbers. its like you guys see nothing but what you want to see in these threads

With out the head and cam and LT and stock suspension with the 3.90 gears. the car would go 13.72 on dr m/t tire. You are right i was looking at 342. That why i said whati said.

The way i see it the Saleen won't see it's peak # until 6000 rpm. Mine peaks at 4500 and holds till 5700 where it starts to slightly fall from there. You figure the race would probably be somewhere between 4500-6000 in each gear. Mathmatically i should win, but in the real world it's obviously different. As far as a bolt on gt w/drags turning 13.1. It's very doable. I ran a 13.6/104 w/2.1 60ft. This was on 315 sumitomos, which we all know aren't very good tires. Either way it will be an interesting match.
