Default Which route should I go with mods?

I want to get a lot of HP out of my 02 and still have growing room. I am wondering which way would be the smarter and more cost effective way of upgrading. I have seen complete 03/04 Cobra motors with the supercharger, computer, wiring harness, etc... sell on ebay for 6-8K dollars. Would buying one of these be the best way to do it, or just spending that cash and putting it into the 2V 4.6L and rebuilding it from the ground up be the best way?

im rebuilding my 2v up... i cant afford one of those cobra motors. i would go full bolt on with it.. except UD's. then put a blower on it or somethin and internals..... i dont know if im saving any money though from doing this to my 2v if i could have had a cobra motor though... but i am making one mean 2v.

for 6-8k (before you pay shipping and put it in the car).... you could have one HELL of a 2 valve for that kinda $$$.

All you need are, full bolt ons, forged internals, cams and a s/c and you could be putting 500 HP to the ground.
