the rear drivers side caliper is off the rotor, and i went to put it back on but its closed up. both pads are touching eachother and the pads wont push apart. help please
unscrew the bleeder work a screwdriver in there, just enough to remove the pads. pull them out. force the pistons home with your hands or pad spreader.
bleed the rear brakes since you opened up the system
ya the only way to do it is to buy or make the tool to screw the piston back in. The rear are not the same as the front because the front you can just jam back in. go to autozone and pick the tool up for like 10 bucks. its alittle cube shaped thing that has two stud things (dont know what else to call them lol) sticking out on one side of the cube to stick into the holes in the piston. easy stuff just need the write tools.
