Default Traveling north, need tires.

Hey guys I need some advice. I'm going to be moving to maine in april, basicly I'll fit everything I can into the cobra and make my way up there.

I need 4 new tires and I have to spend as little money as possible. What would be a good tire to use to go from Florida to Maine without having to worry about possible snowy/icey conditions?

Dont know any cheap tires for snow, but iv heard alot of good things about bridgestone blizzaks..cost about 120 each for a 17" rim. But winter is almost over..so save your $$$

I lived in northern NY for about 2 years while in the army, kept my summer tires on the whole time. In the winter ran about 25 psi on the tires and about 3 sandbags in the trunk(with 4.10 gears!). Drive slow and take your time if you hit snow!

In April you won't have to worry about snow/ice.
With a stang, if you're gonna be driving in the winter you really need a dedicated set of snow tires.

yea, i have a set of blizzaks for my stang, 4.10s in the winter and a set of 15" steely's. amazing, but as soon as its warm out the tires do not last, so yea, you need to have the dedicated snow tires for winter. ill be putting my rims back on in the next month or so. but like they said, the winter shouldn b too bad now so no sense in getting something dedicated for snow now

I'm moving to shapleigh. It's a little town right next to a small town called sanford. Southwest of portland about 40 minutes.
