Default gap for spark plus

what is the gap supposed to be at for a 98 gt. they are motocraft platinum plugs

I believe it is @ or around 0.052 inch...somebody please correct me if im wrong.

That's what it is for my 02' so sounds right. You could always call AutoZone. Even they can't mess that up.

I used .054 on all of mine which I believe is what the factory uses too. Not 100% sure on that but I know I did use .054.

Usually platinum plugs are already pre gapped. I would still check the gap though. And it is .054
