Default Thermostat Bypass holes??
So I was cruzing through SVTPerf and I noticed someone selling a T-stat that has bypass holes drilled. Obviously it's to let coolant through BUT is it really needed? What's the logic?

I actually have a 180 degree version of that. It's was made by FRPP back when they had the plastic crossovers on the intake in hoping it would relieve pressure

he must be crazy since a thermostat opens and closes by a type of wax in it that melts and cools down
