I wanted to know y my car dies at 5100 is it because i have a 97 ecu or 4.10's
what year is your car? does it die in any certain gear? 4.10's should have nothing to do with it. i mean i see it says 1997 mustang next to your name but im curious as to why your asking if its cuz you have a 97 ecu
im gonna have to say it could be because the 96-98 are npi and 99-04 are PI. it could have a fuel problem possibly. im not saying its likely because the only difference is the heads. i would look for a used 2001 ecu if i were you
Thats WHAT I WAS TOLD BUT SOMBODY JUST TO GET A TUNER BUT THE GUY AT AMERICAM MUSCLE I WOULD HAVE TO GET A 01 ECU BEFORE I COULD GET A TUNER.SO I GUESS IM GOING TO GET A 01 ECU
If you put an 01 ecu in it you'll have to swap the gauge cluster and whole engine harness, it won't run the coil pack setup, and the npi ecu won't run a cop setup.
