Default Car pulling to left with new rims/tires

i have a 2003 gt which is lowered with ford c springs and tokico hp's. i just got 4 17x9 rims with 275's on them. i noticed that my car is pulling pretty hard to the left, and sometimes the right but the right is rare. i can see my steering wheel moving if i take my hands off of it and i have to kinda hold the car straight.

i checked the tire pressure and theyre balanced. i cant think of anything causing this other than the fact that i didnt get an alignment when i lowered my car over this past summer. . . i guess it always pulled a baby bit to the left but what would have made it worse?

Get the car alinged. When lowering a car the suspension geometry gets thrown outta whack.

The front tires have probably worn unevenly over that 6 months, worsening the effect. Not good.

oh, forgot the main point. this hasnt been a problem since i lowered the car with my stock rims and tires. . . but today i put on 4 17x9 rims with 275's and theyre used. i dont see anything wrong with the tires and theyre balanced so they would appear to be a source of the problem but i dont see why they would make the very slight pull i used to have worse

if you've got the 275's on all 4 corners it could be bumpsteer. with that wide of tire on the front it tends to follow the road. same problem here. install a bumpsteer kit and it'll all be good.

ah man thats actually a good call, i always wondered what bumpsteer was. i thought it was like sometimes when you hit a big bump and the back jumps out a little. . . hard to describe. but now that you mention it i guess the wheels do follow the contours of the road maybe i'll get one, probably a lot of dough though
