i really like ngk plugs. I put in iridium plugs tonight and saw improvement in idle and driving smoothness over copper plugs. But unless you have f/i id go with stock plugs. havt seen to many people running platnum

ir are suppose to last longer, which could be a good thing since some people have problems with stripping out the plug threads when changing out plugs a lot. as for f/i no ir or pt. i put a brand new set or ir when i first put in my blower b/c ir where the hot new s*it. the didnt even last one dyno pull before they fouled up and my car was running like s*it. not to change the subject but copper is good for f/i because it has a lower melting point than ir or pt, therefore if you have a serious lean condition the copper could melt before your piston essentially shutting down the cylinder. replacing a $2 plug is much cheaper than a piston. that is just my 2c.
