MAKE sure your engine is BONE *** ICE COLD...no evidence of a slight bit of heat... TOTALLY cold...

and 2..

invest in a torque wrench and a long single piece extension to get as accurate of a measure as possible

Hey thanks for the info.. I really don't think I'm making enough HP for an exspensive Spark plug. Gonna stay with the stock one's.

NGK are cheap and work great. I highly recommend using anti-seize on the plugs, but torque them properly (maybe even a little past specs). I wouldn't bother with wires, your wires should be fine. One of the things I recommend at that mileage is definitely using a cleaner or flush in the radiator. Also, grease up all of your bearing really well to avoid getting some of the common sqeaks and pops.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS use anti-seize when installing new spark plugs. It is only $1 for a little pack of it, but it will save you $1500-$2000 if you mess up your threads for having a seized plug in your head, or worse, breaking a plug off in your head. Just use it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is the best dollar you will spend..... Trust me!
