i changed my car to a 5 speed tr3650 from a 4 speed auto.now my car will idle at around 2500 to 3000 and drop down after a couple seconds every time a hit the throttle and my speedometer is of by around 50 mph my check engine light is on and i have 4 codes all for the transmission and my overdrive light keeps flashing

I hope you're not trying to drive the car without having it retuned. I went from auto to t56, after the tune I have had no problems.

Do quote, but i think sniper tuning can fix it. check them out. That was my plan if i when i was gona do the swap to a manual. Let me know if it worked. That would be nice to know.

I did the same swap on my 02 GT. You will either need a new ECM or Sniper tuner and all the probems will be fixed providing you did the swap correctly. (New tranny wiring harness)

Are you still using the Auto ECM? did you change your wiring harness?

i took my car to ford and they said i have to get a new ecu and i used my old v6 transmission harness i havnt been able to find a new ecu the dealership told me i have to get a ecu out of a 2001 gt if i get a new ecu will the dealership have to program it
