Default Bought a hypertech chip.

Well found someone selling a hypertech chip for a 96-98 mustang for $70 and i bought it, not such a bad price right? Anyway what type of performance gain should i see from it with my current mods (I know i dont have to many yet, working on the exhaust).

Unfortunatley, the Hypertech will not allow to adjust anything on your 98 except for the timing. It claims it can raise rev and topseed limiters and adjust for bigger tires etc etc.......but not on the 98[&o] I had one for a while but returned it. I felt a solid 10 hp through the bad....definately noticable gains.

That's cheaper than a T/A though, so good deal.

Yeah, none of the tuner can do much more than timing/speed limiter for our cars. 96-97/99+ WTF DID YOU DO FORD!

Hey Acer you should get some clear corners for your car. That would look pretty bad.

i thought that once the chips were used and programmed for one car they were pretty much useless if you switched to another stang.

Usually it's the programmers that are VIN locked.
