Default Having trouble gettin starter off

i'm pulling my tranny in order to replace my TOB. i got all the tranny bolts but can't get the last top bolt on the Starter to come off. i am having a really hard time gettin an angle on it i have no idea how to configure the socket to et a good angle to get it off. do i go from the front of the motor of more where the starter is?

the best way to do it is have 2 people and alot of extenisions and go from the front of the motor over top of the motor mount and have the 2nd person kinda guide the socket to the bolt i think you will also need a swivele head. hope this helps

+1 Go in from the front of the car with an 24" extension and a swivel

so you mean like go over the engine. as in like on top of it going thru the back pass. side?

pita, but a swivel joint is a must with 12" of extensions. it will come. i've done it multiple time from under the car. never gone in from the top. but everybody has their own way i gues lol

i go from the front of the motor and run the extensions by the motor mount area with a swivel on the end.

alright i'll try that. i didn't try using a swivel on the end. got to frustrated and gave up before then. i'll throw it on the lift again tommarow and give it another shot. thanks!
